Grant the ID360 automation service consented access to your Microsoft 365 tenant, so your automations can run inside it.
From your Microsoft 365 dashboard, open Get set up. Step 1, Connect your Microsoft 365, lists exactly what the connection grants: read and send mail, read calendars, read and write SharePoint files, and a read-only view of your user directory.
The consent screen is Microsoft's own, and it must be approved by a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator on your tenant. If that is not you, arrange for that person to sign in when Microsoft asks — ID360 never sees a password either way.
You are taken to Microsoft's admin-consent screen. The grant applies across your whole tenant — that is how Microsoft application access works — not only to the mailboxes you later pick for each automation.
Accept, and you land back on the setup page with a banner confirming Microsoft 365 is connected. Stage 2, Choose your automations, appears below it.
Step 1 now reads Connected, with your tenant's primary domain beside it. You can revoke the grant yourself at any time from the Microsoft admin center, under Enterprise applications — no call to us needed.
These are the real states you can hit, and they are not the same thing: an empty list, a read that failed, and a feature that is not built are shown differently in the app on purpose.
What it means: Connecting a tenant is part of the managed plans — Launch, Growth, and Scale. Without one there is nothing on your account for automations to run under.
What to do: Pick a plan from the billing page, then come back — the setup page is the same one.
What it means: Each connection attempt is single-use and time-limited, and this one lapsed — nothing was granted.
What to do: Press Connect Microsoft 365 again and complete the Microsoft screen in one sitting.
What it means: Whoever was signed in at Microsoft pressed Cancel, or did not have the rights to approve — no access was granted.
What to do: Start again with a Global Administrator signed in.
What it means: A Microsoft 365 tenant can be connected to one account at a time.
What to do: If the tenant is yours, contact support and we move it to the right account.
What it means: Your admin removed the consent in the Microsoft admin center, so your automations cannot run.
What to do: Press Reconnect Microsoft 365 to grant it again — your automation settings are kept.
What it means: The managed backend for your account is still being set up, which usually completes shortly after checkout. It is a waiting state, not an error.
What to do: Wait a few minutes and press Check again.
